COTTON RECORDS presents “EXCUSE MY FRENCH vol.6”
with DJ DEEP and I:CUBE (CHATEAU FLIGHT)
A French beach party with COTTON RECORDS, DJ DEEP and I:CUBE at La Playa beach bar in Varna on August 16. In 2007 Cotton Records started a collaboration with the French Culture Institute with a series of music events called “EXCUSE MY FRENCH”. For the summer of 2008 the selected representatives of the French music scene are DJ DEEP and I:CUBE (CHATEAU FLIGHT).
DJ DEEP is one of the most revered members of the French house scene. Laurent Garnier was the one who gave him the "first chance" to DJ. Dj Deep became a key figure of the Parisian scene and put together "What's up mix it" with friends from the label What's up. This compilation featured for the first time together artists such as Dimitri from Paris, DJ Cam, Saint Germain, Dj Gilb'r, and a track of his own "Sweet summer vibe". DJ DEEP travels the world as a highly sought-after and successful touring DJ.
I:CUBE (aka Nicholas Chaix) is one of the most successful French techno and house producers. Along with such artists as Air, Motorbass, and Daft Punk, he was and still is one of the most hyped underground acts in Paris. His full-length debut album “Picnic Attack”, loaded with a heavy dose of driving, minimal, trance-oriented techno, helped distinguish I:CUBE's style from that of the other representatives of the French Music scene. “Adore”, an album that pleased the dance floor and couch heads, followed in 2000. Around the album's release he released a collaboration with DJ Gilb-R as Chateau Flight. Both guys have always shared the same passion for music and the same need to create their own music.
